CMYK 4 Colour printing is done in CMYK, which stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.

Digital Printing refers to the type of printing which uses digital imaging process that transfers the image directly onto plain paper without traditional offset rollers and plates.

DCS Desktop Colour Separation is generally a collection of pre-separated EPS files.  DCS files are used for vector data or text. Since DCS files contain separate EPS-files for each plate, an application can generate and print colour separations faster when the DCS format is used. Alsso used to support output of Spot Colours using Alpha channels from Photoshop.

DPI
(dot per inch) the number of dots that fit horizontally and vertically into a one- inch measure. Generally, the more dots per inch, the more detail is captured, and the sharper the resulting image.

EPS An EPS file can contain any combination of text, graphics and images. Since it is actually a Post-Script file, it is the most versatile file format that is available. EPS-files usually contain a small preview image that is used to visualize the content of the file. This is done so that applications don't need a PostScript interpreter to display the content of the EPS file.
